Today was the third Wine Wednesday. For food, we tried something completely different. For the first time in the four weeks we've been here, we fried our potatoes and boiled our vegetables. Pictures follow, although they sadly do not convey how good it smelled.

We finally found a wine that worked with the food. I felt like Meliritos sounded an awful lot like Merlot. It seemed better to have a wine with a type that (seemed to) imdicate a breed of wine rather than a broad category as before. It was by far the best we have had so far.
We are investigating trips for upcoming weekends. We are looking at Krakow for this weekend, although I don't know if we will get it figured out in time. We're also browsing the possibility of visiting the highest point in Poland. It's a mountain (with a scenic lake halfway up) on the border of Slovakia.
Tomorrow is my birthday. The day after is Independence Day back home. I don't know if we'll do anything specifically for either. I don't anticipate getting much sympathy for that, since most days we have are pretty much paid vacation.
I have been making art in Microsoft Paint. I might post that later.
Tomorrow we meet with Professor Wilczinski who is supposed to pose our research questions to us for the rest of the summer.
